It’s All About Me…
My artwork exists at the intersection of abstract and expressionism, characterized by large-scale pieces that feature bold, vivid colors and dramatic contrasts that create a dynamic tension. Guided by instinct rather than premeditated themes, each piece emerges organically, ensuring authenticity.
Understanding the surrounding environment is central to my creative process. I carefully consider a client's space—its walls, lighting, and atmosphere—to ensure the piece enhances its setting without overbearing.
Influenced by abstract expressionists such as Richter, Pollock, de Kooning, Kline, Motherwell, and more contemporary figures like Banksy, my work strives to honor their motifs while forging a distinct identity. Using mixed media—including oils, latex, resins, gesso, molding paste, and spackling—I build layers rich in texture and depth, applied through palette knives, brushes, spatulas, and squeegees.
Ultimately, my art challenges viewers’ perceptions of art and space, inviting them to explore deeper narratives hidden within color, form, and texture.
My studio is in West Mount Airy, Philadelphia.
